So after many complaints about how I have not updated in quite awhile I figured while I'm at work doing nothing ( haha , I have to laugh to myself because I'm crazy busy!! ) I thought I'd let everyone know what has been going on in the Cloyd household. Christmas is obviously over and it was wonderful. We had a delicious breakfast at Sarah and Troy's house where we exchanged some gifts. Reegan got some new little outfits from her cousin Kaylie and I got the makeup that I have been wanting from Troy and Nick got a girt card to Sportsmans from my dad. After that we went to Nick's sister Stephanie and her fiance's house for dinner. It was great.
We have been working on trying to housebreak Sadie and teaching her not to chew on everything in site, which she doesn't seem to be taking to. It's really hard because if she has an accident in the house then Hunter thinks it's ok to go to the bathroom in the house as well. I couldn't imagine having to kids close together, I would assume this is what it would be like except worse. Nick and I have been really busy at work, both working overtime Mon- Fri and I have been working every Saturday for about a month now, it's crazy. It seems like the only time we see each other is when we are getting ready for bed and right when we wake up for work.
Sarah is getting ready for her first cake decorating competition which is on Feb 16th at the Glendale Civic Center from 10-3 so if you guys want to see some amazing cakes go check them out. I'm really happy for her that she found something that she enjoys doing and is really good at. I will be going to cheer on my little sis and hopefully she wins first place in her division! As for me I'm going to be signing up for some online classes to finish up my associates degree. I really want to get into nursing but the only nursing programs I've found are Mon- Fri 4:30 to 9:30 which means if I'm working during the day then I would never see Nick or Reegan. I just don't know what to do, hopefully we will work out something as a family.
Now for the baby update!
Well I'm 29 weeks now ( or almost 7 1/2 months prego ) and I have to say it is definitely getting better. I love feeling Reegan move, even if it is up under my ribs and pinching a nerve. It is really the most amazing thing to be able to watch my stomach move with each little kick. I went to the doctor about a week ago and she went over my glucose test results and they came back good, I'm not getting diabetes but I am slightly anemic, which she said was normal since I have to now share my blood with the baby. She suggested that I start taking some iron pills once a day and that she help things out. About 3 weeks ago I went in for an ultrasound for just a regular checkup to make sure Reegan was growing properly since I haven't really gained any weight. ( To date I think it's about 5-6 pounds over my starting weight). Well the lady said that Reegan was measuring about 3 days small, which my doctor went over with me and said that she is in the 35 percentile in size and if she stayed in that zone she would still be about a 6-7 pound baby. I have to say I'm happy with that. I'm not sure I could deal with trying to push out an 8 or 9 baby. Tomorrow I will be going to buy Reegan's crib and matress so that is exciting. I can't believe that I only have about a month and a half before she enters this world. I'm starting to get kind of nervous, not only about the delivery but also about having someone that will be completely dependent on me. So far everyone that I know has said that is normal but after she's born I will forget all about it. Well, I don't think I really have that much more to say. I have another doctor's appointment on Tuesday so maybe if I'm not too busy I will try to update after that.
