HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

So it was my birthday on September 15th! I turned a QUARTER OF A CENTURY, or 25 but I like to be dramatic. I didn't really do much, I went to work, big mistake I couldn't focus all day and I'm pretty sure I got yelled at by a customer who was past due making their car payments. After work I went to pick up Reegan at Amy's house and went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Nick met me there along with Sarah, Jimmy and my mom. It was great. Of course as soon as we sat down Sarah made sure to tell the waiter that it was my birthday. He asked how old I was and I said 25. The waiter was like "I'll make sure I say you're turning 21" I said "no that's ok because now my insurance is going down!" There was some older couples at the table that was diagonal from us and one of the men kept looking at Reegan. He got up from the table and walked over and asked me how old she was. I advised the man that she is 4 1/2 months old. He then went on to tell me how absolutely gorgeous my daughter was. Without saying " I know" I politely thanked him and he went back to his table. Probably 10 minutes later they we all getting up to leave and him and his wife came back over to the table. The lady also told me that Reegan is beautiful and that she is so good natured. I said thank you to the both of them as they were talking to Reegan she was just smiling away at them. So we ate dinner and our waiter came over to the table with the saddle which I had to get on, while they shouted out to the resurant that I was turning 21. He gave me some ice cream which I shared with Reegan and we went home. All in all not a big celebration but I couldn't have thought of a better way to spend my birthday.

On a side note Reegan is cutting a tooth, at least I'm pretty sure that's what her problem has been the past 2 days. She has been screaming and has a runny nose and it doesn't help when I give her Tyelnol but she stops crying as soon as I put some Orejel on her gums. Yeah, I love parenting!
