Baby Update

Well I went in for my weekly ultrasound on Wednesday ( which I only get because of my high blood pressure ) and they measured my amniotic fluid and it came out to 7.4 cm which is very low. Normally they want the fluid to be betweek 8 and 25 cm. As if that wasn't bad enough the week before it was at about 13 cm, so in 1 week it dropped drastically and they don't know why. They think it is because my placenta is not working properly which is also why Reegan is small for her "age". They talked it over with my doctor and I had to go in for another ultasound and non stress test yesterday where they said that my fluid went up slightly. After my doctor got these results she decided to put me on bedrest. I was told that if my fluid levels drop again and go to 5 or below then they will enduce me as soon as I'm 36 weeks, which is on Wednesday. I have a doctors appt. on Tuesday and another ultrasound on Wed so I might be having this baby sometime next week. I know this all sounds bad but Reegan is doing really well, she passes her non stress tests with flying colors. The techs said she wished all babies were this good :) that really makes a mom proud! This whole bedrest thing is going to be great for maybe a couple of days, but it's going to be really hard to not do anything. I really hope they enduce me so that I can do something besides sit/lay around all day. I will post an update as soon as I hear something new.

On a sad note, we had to get rid of Sadie yesterday. Nick's sister came and picked her up and she will be living with her and her fiance and their 2 dogs. She just wouldn't stop eating the carpet. Nick and I now have to re-carpet the living room, which sucks because we rent the house. Oh well, our lease is up in November and we are going to look at buying something. I'm just sad that we had to get rid of Sadie, she was such a good dog besides the chewing. I also feel sad for Hunter who deeply misses his friend. He went around the house all night last night looking for her. He would go outside and then come inside and whine. It was heartbreaking :(
