38 weeks

So I had my 38 week checkup yesterday and I was still only 2 cm dilated. I'm starting to get really annoyed that nothing has progressed in 2 weeks. I'm going to start walking everyday so that hopefully that will move things along. I asked my doctor to scrap my membrane so that my water will break. Well apparently I'm not dilated far enough for him to get all of it so he did what he could. My blood pressure was high yesterday so he sent me over to the hospital into triage and I had some test done. Everything came back fine so they sent me home. I was kind of hoping that they would induce me. My doctor said I'm starting to get Pre-Eclampsia ( high blood pressure while pregnant ) and my medication isn't bringing it down. I have another appointment next Wednesday and if it is still high I think they will induce me. Nick and I are getting so anxious and we just want Reegan here. I really hope she comes soon. I'm starting to get really uncomfortable doing everything. Sleeping is starting to get hard because I'm not only limited to my positions I'm also waking up about every 2 hours and it's hard to get back to sleep. This pregnancy thing is really hard, and I totally give props to those women who have like 10 kids. I really don't think I could do this again any time soon.
