Update-a-roonie / BABY SHOWER INFO!!
Invitations have been sent out so family you should be receiving yours, if you haven't it's probably because I didn't have your address so please see your respective mother or mother-in-law and they should have one. It will be at my house at 12 ( noon ) . Please let me know if you need the address. I have registered at Target, probably the biggest thing I need is infant clothes/ onesies. I have also a grand prize drawing that you can be entered by bringing in a package of diapers.
So far I'm just about 32 weeks and I have gained back 4 out of the 7 pounds that I lost. I go to the doctor's today and I KNOW that I have gained more weight. I'm going every 2 weeks and my blood pressure is already getting high. I have a feeling that I will not be making it my due date so maybe they will induce me in December! Reegan still doesn't really understand that she is going to be a big sister soon, but we are working with her so that it doesn't come to that big of a shock when this little boy doesn't go away. Reegan is SO stinking smart it's ridiculus. She knows how to count to 10 and can sing about half of her ABC's. She is also talking so much now and forming sentences already. One of her favorites is " Go away Bubba" ( talking to our dog) , or "That's Daddy's remote" What a kid. She has also started repeating things that we say, well mostly what I say. OOPS!!! Her big one is Shutup Bubba, when the dog barks. Everytime she says it I immediately have to tell her that we don't say that word and we say be quite.
As for the job, I applied for a new position as a trainer. I had my second round interview yesterday and I really hope I get the job. It will be a significant increase in pay which will definitely be nice since Nick's job is really slow now. I'm not sure what else I have but I will post pictures soon, I will have to have Nick take another side pic of my GI-normous belly, until then....

Reegan took a step on her own!!!
The new job is going well. I started OJT (on the job training) this past Monday and it is SO overwhelming. I've started working my own students and I really have NO idea what I'm talking about when they are on the phone. Good thing I have 3 weeks of this.
Tonight is New Year's Eve and yesterday was Nick's 25th birthday. My parents are babysitting and we got to go out to dinner tonight. It was so good. We went to Texas Roadhouse (Nick's favorite place). It's about 10:30 and we are at his aunt's and uncles and I think we are getting ready to go home. I'm so tired I really don't think I will make it till midnight.
Well I will try to update when I can I feel like I'm neglicating everyone so for that I'm very sorry.

Back to normal
*I first want to greatly thank my wonderful husband for watching Reegan on Sunday while I got to go to the movies. It was really such a great gift to be able to send about 4 1/2 hours of "me" time especially since I've been so distant while reading. Thank you!!*
Well I finished the Twilight series last night. 4 books in 6 days. The first 3 books took me 1 day each. Lets just say that by Thursday and having not done really anything at work for the past 3 days I got in trouble. That really put a hinder on my at work reading for Friday. I was kind of pissed off. Friday my boss was like hovering. I don't think he's come by my desk that many times since I've been here let alone in 1 day. They guy that sits behind me was getting kind of pissed too. He wanted to know why my boss didn't just leave me alone. Whatever. I'm over it and this job. So I started reading the 4th book on Friday and finished it last night at like 11pm and I get up at 4:30am to get ready for work. Needless to say I'm dead tired! Nick was feeling kind of forgotten during my reading so I know he's glad I'm finished. I also went and saw the movie yesterday. Great movie, not nearly as good as the book though, but isn't that normally how it is? I met some friends at the theater and occasionally we would whisper to each other, " That's not how I pictured it in my head." I really only have 2 problems with the movie. Number 1 was "Bella's" acting. Sometimes I think she really overdid it. If you've seen the movie or will see it my main point of disturbance was when she was in the hospital the 2nd time, telling Edward he couldn't ever leave her. I think it was a bit over done and I really just wanted to be like "SPIT IT OUT ALREADY!!!!" 2ndly did anyone notice that when Billy and Jacob came to Charlie's house for the first time that Billy was driving? Umm, why is Billy driving he's in a wheelchair. I mean he literally gets out of the truck and into a wheelchair. Oh well, I still loved the movie and I WILL be buying it as soon as it's out on video. I will also need to invest in actually buying the books for myself. I want to thank my cousin Erica for letting me borrow her series. That's all I'm saying on this matter.
UPDATE:
Reegan is turning 7 months old today. I really can't believe that it's already been that long. I'm already thinking of party ideas for her first birthday. Is this too soon? Well, she still isn't crawling and she still doesn't seem to really want any part of it. She will roll all over the house till she's up against something, it up and pull herself to standing. Everyone keeps telling me she needs to crawl first, but really what am I supposed to do. HELLO? She doesn't want to do it. She will hardly get on her hands and knees. She likes being on her hands and feet thought, almost like a downward dog yoga pose. She's crazy. I've also tried giving her solid foods. We had an early Thanksgiving dinner with Nick's aunt and uncle and I was giving her pieces of turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie (no cool whip or crust). She really enjoyed it and kept everything down. It didn't seem to bother her stomach at all. It's really funny to watch her eat, especially since she doesn't have any teeth. She just gums everything. I know I mentioned in my previous post how Reegan has learned to stand in her crib. It's so frustrating because she will just barely wake up, like if she just wants her pacifier and she will sit up and cry. I'm having to go in and check on her way more than I used to. But I did get a picture of her standing. Please note that she is crying it was just because mom took too long to get her out of the crib after she was already awake. But hey, I needed the picture.

I don't really have that much more to report. We have not completely finished unpacking all of our boxes so when that is done, then I can get some pictures up. I start my new job on Monday and I'm so excited. My last day at Toyota is "technically" Friday but since I've decided I'm not coming in that day and we have Thursday off for T-giving, it will be on Wednesday. I have to say that I'm SOO glad to be leaving. They have completely screwed up my schedule this week, which totally sucks. Anywhoo that is it for now. Sorry this is such a long post but I had so many things to report.

All Moved In.... Sort of
p.s. funny story here. We stayed the night at the new house on Saturday and we made sure we brought the dog door so that Hunter could go out in the middle of the night to go potty. Well we knew that the backyard had a sprinkler system that we thought went off during the day. HAHA guess we were wrong. At some point Saturday night/early Sunday morning the backyard got watered and Hunter went out a played in the water. He came back in and jumped on the bed. I, not yet knowing he was wet, didn't think anything of it. Then he came up to my face like he wanted to get under the covers so I pulled up the blanket and Hunter started rubbing his wet body all over the sheets! I screamed at him to get off the bed, which in turn scared the crap out of Nick and Hunter proceeded to crawl under the bed and go to sleep. I heard him snoring comfortably about 5 mins later. What a pain. Ahh the joys of parent-hood. Yes Hunter is our first child. Pictures soon to follow!

Can you say Momma...
Nope she can't but Reegan can say Da Da. Nick is over the moon thrilled so I guess this means when she asks for him, now he has to start doing everything! *Sorry this video is sideways it was taken from my phone and my phone is stupid. I have no idea how to rotate it* As for a little update, Reegan has had a touch of the stomach flu so she hasn't been feeling well. Oh and guess what? I found out on Tuesday that I got the job at University of Phoenix. I offically start 12/1/08. I'm so excited, not only is it better pay ( $1.30 more) but also the hours are way better it's Mon-Fri and I'm guaranteed 1 of my top 3 choices. So I will either be working 6-3, 7-4 or 8-5. Plus I will also get to go back to school and it's is 100% free tuition. Guys, I really can't believe how well things are finally going for Nick and I. Wish me luck!

Back so soon
On a positive note since Nick was home we got to go house hunting on Sunday. Our lease is up at the end of November but we want to find something before then so we don't have to rush out of our home now. A couple of months ago we were looking at buying a home but since we want to move out of Arizona in the next year or so and since the market is HORRIBLE right now, we figured it was probably for the best to just find something else to rent. Reegan and I went to lunch with my friend Kinsey (who is also my personal hair stylist and colorist) when Nick calls me and says he found a house. It's 2 bedrooms, 2 bathroom, 2 1/2 car garage for $775 a month. I'm thinking SWEET!!!! So I tell him to call the guy back and see if we can schedule an appointment to walk thru the house. Nick calls me back less than 2 mins later saying
"you need to be at the house at 2pm."
me: "I'm eating lunch"
Nick: "you better hurry your ass"
I'm thinking you know if this was switched around you wouldn't hurry to eat. So I had less than 1 hour to enjoy lunch with my friend. Made it to the house and walked thru. Absolutely love the house. Normally I wouldn't have wanted only a 2 bedroom but since I got rid of my computer (until I can afford a laptop, I didn't want all the cords around the baby) and we told Sarah she could have our spare bed for when she moved out on her own we didn't really need the wasted space. Plus the rent is cheaper that what we are paying now and it's way closer to the freeway which will save on gas. We got the application which has a 2ND score : no application fee and we will be dealing with the actual homeowner and not a 3rd party property manager! We filled it out and tried faxing it to him yesterday afternoon. Well, the poor old guy couldn't really figure out how to work his fax machine so I called him this morning to see if by some miracle he had an email address and would actually know how to use it. Well he did so I emailed it to him. Called him about 15mins after I sent it to him and waited while he logged onto his email account and listened while he reviewed the application then said..
"OK I'll rent it to you guys. When can you move in?"
I told him we could move in on Saturday and we figured out how much we will have to put down on the house. This guy is so nice, he is letting up pay extra each month to cover the last month's rent he originally wanted up front. We are so fortunate to have found this house. Not to mention for only 2 beds 2 baths I think this has more square footage then the house we are in now. I can't wait to be in our new home!!! AAAHHH.. I almost forgot it has a WORKING fireplace in the living room. I can not wait to decorate it for Christmas. We are truly so blessed to have found such a wonderful home to fit our needs. I have to work on Saturday for 4 hours so Nick will be in charge of starting the move and I will need to find someone to watch Reegan for a little while. If anyone is interested in having a precious little gorgeous baby girl to have fun and play with on Saturday, let me know, she's free for the day...or at least part of it. Sorry you will need to give her back as hard as it may be, and try to limit the cheek pinching I know it's tempting but she really doesn't like it. Trust me!

Thank you all......
On a positive note, Reegan has learned to roll over from her back to her stomach, add this to the rolling from her stomach to her back and we have a mobile child! She just rolls all over the house and when she stops on her stomach she doesn't freak out like she used to. She is also VERY close to crawling. I've been moving her toys farther away from her and while in her sitting position she leans all the way forward. Now if you remember this used to result in a face plant but not anymore. She will catch herself on her hands put one hand out and continue to reach as far as she can. She has even moved her legs underneath her till she is on hands and knees. I'm pretty sure it will happen by the end of the month. I'm so excited it's time to start baby proofing and Hunter better watch out. I'm also sad to report there will be no pictures for a while. Nick has taken the camera on his deer hunt and won't be back till next Sunday, unless he happens to kill something before that. Maybe this will be the time to figure out how to use my video camera ! Wish me luck it's like the directions are written in Japanese

6 month check up

Well, we got her stats and she is WAY below the norm but she is very advanced in her motor skills and in her learning. As always the DR. was very impressed on the things she can do like how she can go from laying to sitting up all by herself and how she can pull herself up into a standing position. I think Reegan needs to show off for the DR. She is always so good and happy and smiling for her. So here's the new stats
height: 25 3/4 " - 42 percentile
weight: 15lbs 14 oz - 44 percentile
head circumference : 16.5 " - 27 percentile
If you noticed from her last weigh-in Reegan has lost some weight. I contribute this to FINALLY finding a formula that works. We put her on a lactose free formula about 1 month ago and she has been doing wonderfully. She can drink a straight formula bottle which she hasn't been able to do since she was 2 months old. I'm so glad that Reegan is growing and thriving. We were watching a Baby Einsteins this morning it was Baby's First Signs. It teaches little kids how to use sign language. It's really neat and just teaches them basics like eat, drink, sleep, mommy, daddy, baby. Things like that. This should really come in useful when she wont be fully talking yet.
I got a few pictures from last night, and I got my new hair bow in the mail from Busy Baby, Busy Mama. It is so cute, a little big but way cute. Right now Busy Baby, Busy Mama is giving away a $50.00 gift certificate for her boutique. Go here to enter the giveaway. Oh yeah if you mention my name and our relation I will get another entry into the giveaway.

Here is her new bow that I won! See what I mean, it's a little big
Below are just a few random pictures of Reegan playing with Hunter. She does this thing where she will reach as far forward as she can without moving her legs. You can see she is almost sitting Indian style and just leans forward. Most of the time this ends in a face plant on the carpet.

We are in TROUBLE!

*starting the pulling up process*

*Hi Mom! Look at me!!*

*Ta-da!!*
yeah I know we are in trouble. But besides all this drama, I had another job interview with the University of Phoenix. I had interviewed last week but afterwards the managers thought I would be a better fit for the finance counselor position so that's what I interviewed for today. It went really well and I made it to the 3rd leg of the hiring process. They sent me 4 senarios via email and I have till tomorrow morning at 8am to answer the questions and email them back. If that goes well, then it all comes down to my backround check which I'm not worried about. I got to prefrence which shift I would want if I got the job so my first choice was 6-3 This is really early but I would be home in time to cook dinner and put Reegan to bed every night, which is what I want. Well that's it for now. Tomorrow Reegan will be 6 months old and she gets her check up on the 30th so I will be able to post her stats.
